✅ What to Submit
Below are common types of documentation we receive. All submissions are reviewed by our documentation team for clarity and categorization.

🏚️ Poor Maintenance / Property Damage
Leaking ceilings or walls (mold, water damage)

Broken appliances (stoves, refrigerators, AC)

Cracked windows, broken locks, or damaged flooring

🐜 Pest or Rodent Infestation
Rodent droppings, nests, or chewed materials

Cockroaches, bed bugs, termites

🧫 Health & Safety Hazards
Mold or mildew on surfaces

Electrical issues (exposed wires, broken outlets)

Unsafe heating, cooling, or lack of hot water

Suspected asbestos or lead-based hazards

🚪 Unsafe Access or Structure
Blocked or locked emergency exits

Broken stairs, handrails, or balconies

Standing water or drainage issues

🏠 Unlawful Rental Practices
Eviction or rent increase notices you believe are unlawful

Security deposit deductions not supported by damage

Evidence of verbal or written threats or retaliation

⚠️ Discrimination or Harassment
Harassment by landlord via text, email, or letter

Signs of discriminatory practices (written or visible)

🧱 Code or Safety Violations
Exposed or unsafe construction materials

Poor or blocked ventilation

Fire hazards (blocked alarms, flammable storage)

Screenshots of unanswered maintenance requests

Letters or forms documenting ignored complaints

Maintenance logs or call histories

🔒 Your Rights & Consent
By submitting your documentation, you confirm that:

You are authorized to share this content (as tenant, witness, or resident)

You understand your visibility options (public or private)

You grant us non-exclusive rights to use public uploads for reporting and advocacy

You will receive a confirmation email and a case number. If you need your files to remain private, please specify that in your message (Private Hire pricing applies).

To make these images more compelling as proof, they should ideally:

Be clear and well-lit.

Show the full context (e.g., damaged appliances or areas, along with surrounding conditions).

Include timestamps, if possible, or other metadata that supports the authenticity and timeliness of the photo.

These images could then be uploaded to the website with detailed descriptions, helping tenants build a case against non-compliant landlords.
