3. Uploaded Content & User Responsibility

You grant Proof in Pictures a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use public uploads for advocacy, awareness, education, or tenant support — unless you explicitly request Private Hire confidentiality.

You are solely responsible for any content you upload. We are not liable for any legal claims arising from false information or rights violations in user-submitted content.

4. Public by Default / Private Hire Option
Most submissions are treated as public unless you choose Private Hire:

Public by Default:
Your content may be published on our website, used in public reports, or shared anonymously/credited as agreed.

You help expose housing neglect and contribute to broader awareness.

Private Hire:
Your content remains fully confidential.

It will not be displayed publicly or used in advocacy.

Private Hire services are not eligible for discounts.

You may change your visibility status anytime by contacting us.

5. No Legal Advice or Guarantees
Proof in Pictures does not offer legal services or guarantees of any kind. Our documentation may support legal action, but we make no guarantees regarding:

Legal outcomes

Settlement results

Repair timelines or landlord response

Eligibility for tenant protections

We encourage you to consult a qualified attorney for legal guidance.

6. Copyright & DMCA Policy
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe any content on our site infringes your copyright, please follow our DMCA Policy to request removal.

To support that mission, documentation is public by default — unless you hire us specifically for a Private Service.

Most of our services include:

Public display of photos, videos, or reports (with or without your name)

Anonymous or credited sharing, depending on your preference

Contribution to collective tenant reports and public awareness campaigns

Inclusion in our visual archive of unsafe housing cases

This helps you, other tenants, and the broader public understand and challenge poor housing conditions. We use this content to inform, expose, and support legal reform.

If you want exclusive access to your documentation without it being shared or posted on our platform:

You must book a Private Hire

All photos, videos, and materials remain 100% confidential

No public publishing, reporting, or anonymous inclusion

Ideal for sensitive or active legal cases requiring discretion

Private Hire services are charged at full rate and are not eligible for discounts, since they do not support our community-facing platform or outreach work.

You can also upload your own documentation directly to our platform as:

A witness or neighbor

A concerned community member

Choose how your content is shared:

Public with Name

Public Anonymous

Private Use Only (with Private Hire status if we’re doing the documentation)

We never reveal your identity without your consent. You can change your visibility status at any time by contacting us.
